Programs

Following is a list of the different programs, experiences and opportunities available within the Canadian skeleton community.

Talent ID Camps

Each summer we hold Talent ID camps throughout the summer to help us find and recruit great athletes. If you have a background in sprinting, rugby, football or are simply athletic, come out and to a Talent ID camp and see if skeleton might be in your future.

Ice House and Learn to Push

Located at Canada Olympic Park, the Ice House is the only indoor facility of its kind in North America, allowing sliding athletes of all levels to perfect the all important push, even when the iced track is closed during the summer.

COP opened this one-of-a-kind facility in February 2001. This has allowed Canada and athletes around the world to develop their push skills in bobsleigh, luge and, of course, Skeleton during the summer months.

Inter-Provincial Program (IPP)

The Inter-Provincial Program comprises athletes who are part of the Inter-Provincial and Inter-Provincial Development Teams commencing from the team announcement of the current season until the team announcement of the following season.

Skeleton Schools

Anyone who wants to get involved in sliding regularly, whether recreationally or competitively, must complete a skeleton school.
